In this here-today gone tomorrow era, you could be forgiven for thinking that the traditions of craftmanship, reliability and quality are things of the past. On the contrary, at Rex Allred Systems, LLC, those attributes are very much alive and thriving.
Our fourth-generation family company is as enduring as the hard-surface materials we use. Over the course of many decades, our skilled mechanics and professional staff have established a reputation for the highest levels of workmanship, together with speed and efficiency in getting the project done on time and on budget. Our success continues to grow as homeowners, architects, interior designers and contractors/home builders demand excellence and accountability.
At Rex Allred Systems, LLC our business, simply stated, is installing roof systems (sometimes fabrication) and related copper work for residential and commercial applications. This includes all types of slate and tile roofing, as well as metal roofing with primary emphasis on copper. Although we do not sell roofing materials, we can provide sources for almost any roof desired or we can furnish it in a turn-key fashion.
Our services are available to homeowners, architects, interior designers and homebuilders/contractors in all phases of a project, from conceptualization through design and bid. I feel a responsibility to ensure homeowners are fully aware of options of design and materials. Beyond that, I promise a roof installed “by the book” or by the manufacturer’s recommendations. On that basis, Rex Allred Systems, LLC is comfortable extending a warranty on all workmanship.
From our office/shop located in Monroe, North Carolina, just outside of Charlotte, NC a city with a rich architectural heritage. Fine new homes have blossomed here over the past two decades as the area has prospered with the concentration of corporate headquarters, major banks, NASCAR and professional athletes.
Rex Allred Systems, LLC has grown to, but still are a small company prided on our workmanship. We send highly trained employees who are supervised by two supervisors who have more than 20 years of working for me. Moreover, because I have maintained a small business, I can visit job sites often.
In our shop we can fabricate the copper elements required on project. In addition to braking such common elements such as drip edge, valleys and flashing, this is where we turn out the custom portion of any project. On any project, this could include custom finials, louvers, cupolas, gutters, conductor heads, chimney caps, or chimney pots. In recent years, I have had projects involving custom metal work inside the residences. Some examples include, but not limited to, fireplace surrounds, kitchen hoods, etc.
